Frequently asked questions
What is your turn-around time?
Most of my items are made-to-order & require 1-4 weeks to make. Please refer to each item's ‘Shipping & policies’ section for the current turn-around time. If your item is needed by a certain date, please send me a message BEFORE ordering to confirm if I can accommodate your request.
I need my item before the estimated delivery date. Can you rush my item?
If your item is needed by a certain date, please send me a message BEFORE ordering to confirm if I can accommodate your request. If I am able to rush an order, a 20% rush fee will be applied to the total.
Which carrier do you ship with?
All packages are shipped via USPS, and sent as either First Class or Priority depending on weight and destination. After you receive a shipment notification, you may locate your tracking number in your "Purchases" tab.
I just noticed I entered in the wrong address on my order. What do I do?
In the event that the incorrect address was entered on your order, please message ASAP so it can be corrected. Doing so will not result in any order delays.
I want to gift something to a friend. Can you send an order directly to them?
Absolutely! Please make sure to enter the recipient's full name and mailing address under the SHIP TO category. Please mark the order as a gift and leave a gift message if desired. All gift purchases do not include a receipt reflecting prices.
You just shipped my package and I noticed I entered the wrong address when ordering! What can be done?
Ultimately, I am not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items. If the package is returned to me, I will resend the package and you are responsible for the additional shipping charges. In the event that you’d like to cancel your order after I have received the package back, I will accept the return ONLY if there were no customizations made to the item(s), and the refund will be the cost of the the irem(s) minus shipping costs (if applicable).
Please, please double-check your address before submitting any orders through Etsy! Sellers are unable to update addresses in the system, so it makes for a tedious process for all involved.
Do you ship internationally?
I’m happy to report that Alison Michel ships worldwide for most products! International shipping times vary greatly, and unfortunately I can never guarantee delivery by a certain date.
Please note that there may be VAT OR CUSTOMS CHARGES that apply to your package. The fee is due upon receipt of the order which you (the customer) is solely responsible for. Etsy sellers are unable to predict which of these fees, if any, will be applied, and Etsy does not allow sellers to calculate or collect these fees or taxes. Any additional fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Can I return my item?
The short answer is typically no, but I do accept returns on a case-by-case basis. If a return is authorized, then the additional shipping costs will be at the Buyer's expense.
Do you accept wholesale orders?
Please contact me to inquire. I offer wholesale to brick + mortar retailers at my own discretion.
Am I able to cancel my order?
All purchases may be cancelled within 1 week of the order date. Please note- this policy may vary with custom orders, and a cancellation may not be accepted.
